Co-ECHL Executive of the Year in 2017-18, Ohrablo has more than 35 years experience in the pro sports and entertainment business. He was the leading force behind the return of the ECHL to Jacksonville and the formation of the Orlando Solar Bears and managed various aspects of those team’s launches and ongoing operations in the areas of marketing, sales and community efforts. Ohrablo's experience spans six professional hockey teams including teams in the American Hockey League (Binghamton, Syracuse and Hartford), International Hockey League (Phoenix), ECHL (Orlando), and the NHL (Florida Panthers). He has directed crucial revenue producing areas including management of ticket sales and sponsorship. Other areas of management include full business operations and community relations. In 2008 and 2009, he co-produced the Bermuda Music Festival with performers such as Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, UB40 and many others. Ohrablo’s Jacksonville community involvement consists of Board memberships including Communities in Schools, Dreams Come True and Episcopal Children’s Services. He is a member of the JaxChamber Board of Governors and serves on the JaxUSA marketing and military relations committees. Ohrablo and his wife Susan, a nationally known expert in academic advising and administrator at Jacksonville University, live in Jacksonville Beach and he is the proud father of Liz, a CPA in the Washington DC area. |
